Myles Ginyard is an Associate in Conn Maciel Carey LLP’s OSHA, MSHA, and Labor & Employment groups, working out of the Washington, DC office. His practice focuses on employment law, workplace investigations, litigation strategy, and risk management, with a particular emphasis on advising employers in the healthcare industry.

Myles counsels employers on a wide range of workplace law issues, including administrative agency proceedings, employee relations matters, disability and leave accommodations, wage and hour compliance, and labor relations. He regularly advises on EEOC and OHR matters, supports HR teams on sensitive investigations, and helps organizations navigate complex statutory frameworks such as Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA, and ERISA. His experience includes developing litigation strategies, overseeing discovery, coordinating experts and witnesses, and negotiating high‑value settlements.

Before joining CMC, Myles served as in‑house legal counsel for a major pediatric healthcare system, where he managed multi‑million‑dollar claims and provided comprehensive guidance on employment, litigation, regulatory compliance, and operational risk. He also advised on contract review and negotiation, managed subpoenas and records requests, and represented the organization in mediations and hearings. Earlier in his career, Myles worked in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Unit at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where he supported mediations and provided analysis to facilitate resolution. He also served in multiple roles within Children’s National Medical Center’s Risk & Litigation Department, gaining deep experience in EEO matters, e‑discovery, and cross‑departmental data management.

Outside the Office

Myles enjoys collecting vinyls, watching sports (specifically football as a Baltimore Ravens fan), and spending time with family and friends.
