Joanne Caruso is a Senior Legal Assistant in our California office, bringing more than three decades of experience supporting complex litigation, including insurance defense, labor and employment, construction defects, OSHA, and general litigation.

Joanne provides comprehensive support across litigation and corporate matters, managing e-filings in Federal and California courts, preparing trial exhibits, coordinating corporate closings, drafting legal documents, opening new matters, supporting billing processes, and overseeing large-scale document productions to ensure smooth and efficient case management.

Before joining CMC, Joanne served as a Senior Practice Assistant at Nixon Peabody LLP, where she provided direct support to senior partners, associates, and firm leadership. She has also held senior roles at leading national and international law firms.

Outside the Office

In addition to her legal career, Joanne is an active volunteer with Cake4Kids, an organization providing celebration cakes to underserved youth. She has been involved with the organization since 2017.
