For the Fifth Year in a Row, Conn Maciel Carey LLP Remains 1 of Only 2 Occupational Safety and Health Law Firm Practices Rated “Band 1” Nationally by Chambers USA

Conn Maciel Carey LLP (CMC) is honored to announce that the firm is one of only two law firms recognized by Chambers USA as “Band 1″ for Occupational Safety and Health Law nationwide.  This is the fifth year in a row that CMC has received the “Band 1” honor, which is every year that Chambers has ranked the OSHA/MSHA Law category, and the firm remains the only “boutique” firm in the top rankings.

Two CMC attorneys were individually rated among the very short list of “Band 1” practitioners in the Occupational Safety and Health Law Rankings, and six total CMC attorneys were recognized, both of which are the most of any firm recognized in the category.

  • Eric Conn, OSHA Practice Chair – Ranked “Band 1”
  • Kate McMahon, OSHA Partner – Ranked “Band 1”
  • Aaron Gelb, Midwest OSHA Practice Chair – Ranked “Band 2”
  • Rachel Conn, California Practice Chair – Ranked “Band 3”
  • Nicholas Scala, MSHA Practice Chair – Ranked “Band 3”
  • Valerie Butera, OSHA Senior Counsel – Ranked “Band 3”

Earning Band 1 recognition for the fifth year in a row is a tremendous honor and a direct reflection of the strong partnerships we’ve built with our clients, the unique relationships we maintain at OSHA, and the strategic approach of our team,” says Eric Conn, CMC’s Co-Founding Partner and OSHA Practice Chair. “Our team is deeply committed to helping employers solve their most difficult OSHA and MSHA challenges with clarity, creativity, responsiveness, and sound judgment. We are especially proud to see so many of our attorneys individually recognized, which underscores the unique depth of expertise within our practice.”

It is an honor to be recognized by Chambers, particularly because the recognition is based on client feedback,” said Rachel Conn, California Practice Chair. “This recognition also reflects our strength on the West Coast and the longstanding relationships and presence we have built in the region.

Being ranked by Chambers is not just a significant achievement—it’s a testament to our unwavering commitment to our clients and proficiency,” said Nicholas Scala, MSHA Practice Chair. “With MSHA being such a specialized and nuanced area, this recognition highlights the rare depth of focus and proven results our team delivers.”
