He worked at the U.S. Department of Labor for nearly a dozen years, not only as a trial and National Office attorney, but also as an agency manager, which provides him with a unique perspective on agency policy and enforcement. During his legal career, Scott has focused on building relationships across the spectrum of the Department of Labor, employers, and employee representatives to ensure open communication that informs prompt identification of concerns and efficient resolution to disputes.<\/p>\n

Scott\u2019s extensive resume includes supporting companies through counseling and litigation under numerous workplace statutes, such as the Occupational Safety and Health Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Service Contract Act, the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, the Mine Safety and Health Act, and the Black Lung Benefits Act.<\/p>\n

Conn<\/a><\/strong>, says \u201cScott represents another notable addition to our already deep bench of OSHA practitioners who previously served as counsel for OSHA or a State OSH Plan earlier in their careers.
