\"Untitled<\/a>In honor of National Paralegal Day this week, we are proud to feature one of our stellar paralegals for today’s CMC Spotlight Series — Trevor Thompson<\/a>!\u00a0 Trevor is a Cal\/OSHA Paralegal in Conn Maciel Carey’s San Francisco office.\u00a0 He has more than a decade of experience in the legal field and supports the attorneys in the OSHA \u2022 Workplace Safety Group as well as the Labor \u2022 Employment, and Litigation groups.<\/p>\n

Trevor is particularly skilled in the organization and analysis of legal documentation. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Legal Document Specialist providing legal, trial and administrative support for several national law firms.<\/p>\n

Where is your favorite vacation spot?\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve always enjoyed Florida. It has the beach, resorts, and plenty of amusement parks to keep me entertained and let me relax.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

What was your first job?\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I worked for my grandfather\u2019s forklift company in the parts department, ordering and putting together everything for our mechanics to do repairs.<\/p>\n

\"Trevor<\/a>If you could share a cup of coffee with one individual, living or dead, who would it be?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I would love to just sit down and talk with Eddie Vedder, from Pearl Jam. His music has always been something that\u2019s connected with me, and he\u2019s just a fascinating, charitable person.<\/p>\n

What do you do for fun? <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

In my free time, I like to write, watch football (Go Ravens), and watch TV and movies.<\/p>\n

What do you \u201cNetflix\u201d?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am a big fan of horror movies. They can be good or bad, but I\u2019ll usually find enjoyment out of them.<\/p>\n

What is your most embarrassing professional\u00a0moment?\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

For about two months after I first joined the firm, I accidentally spelled one of our Partner\u2019s names incorrectly. I think he was just too nice to correct me before I found out on my own!<\/p>\n

What do you like about working for CMC?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I love the people here. Everyone is friendly, patient, and understanding. Everyone is willing to help out however and whenever they can. It\u2019s a very positive working environment.<\/p>\n

What advice would you give to young professionals?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re thinking about doing something with your career, don\u2019t waste time. Just do it sooner rather than later. Don\u2019t get discouraged if you\u2019re not in the place you want to be. Don\u2019t let rejection get you down. You\u2019ll find your place eventually if you keep trying.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
