She has guided clients through all stages of administrative litigation, including investigation, discovery, motion practice, mediation, and hearing preparation. Her practice also includes advising clients on workplace safety and health compliance, workplace investigations, reasonable accommodation issues, and other sensitive employment matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before joining CMC, Erin served as a Trial Attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice\u2019s Civil Division, where she worked on complex environmental tort litigation involving toxic exposure and property contamination. She also spent several years with the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office for the District of Columbia as a Paralegal Specialist, supporting all phases of civil litigation involving federal employment laws, administrative law, and tort claims. Most recently, she was an Associate at a law firm in the DMV-area representing clients in employment litigation matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.connmaciel.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Kara M. Maciel<\/strong><\/a>, Co-founder and Chair of the firm\u2019s national Labor &amp; Employment Practice, said, \u201cErin brings meaningful litigation experience early in her career, having worked on complex matters in both the Department of Justice and the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office. She is a thoughtful advocate with strong analytical skills, and we are excited to welcome her to our deep bench of litigators and employment counsel.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019ve spent much of my career navigating the intersection of employment law and administrative processes \u2014 from investigations to hearings,\u201d says Erin. \u201cI look forward to applying that foundation to support CMC\u2019s clients and working with such a talented team.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cErin has represented clients in challenging workplace matters, including discrimination and disciplinary proceedings,\u201d Kara added. \u201cShe brings a practical, solutions-oriented mindset that will serve our clients well.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Myles\u2019 practice focuses on employment law, workplace safety (OSHA &amp; MSHA), risk management, and litigation, including advising employers on administrative agency proceedings, employee relations matters, workplace investigations, disability and leave accommodations, and litigation strategy, with a strong background in the healthcare industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most recently, Myles served as in-house legal counsel for Children\u2019s National Medical Center in Washington, DC, where he managed multi-million-dollar claims and advised on a broad range of employment, litigation, risk management, and regulatory matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.connmaciel.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Aaron R.
