Darius Rohani-Shukla is an Associate in the firm’s Labor and Employment practice in Washington, DC.

 

Mr. Rohani-Shukla represents clients in all aspects of Labor and Employment law including restrictive covenants, wage and hour disputes, claims of discrimination and harassment, compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA). He also advises clients on privacy rights for employers at the state and local levels.

 

Mr. Rohani-Shukla brings experience handling all aspects of litigation at a practice focused specifically on United States federal employment laws. He brings solid experience advising clients on Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Rehabilitation Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Whistleblower Protection Act. Mr. Rohani-Shukla is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/ US) with the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

In support of the OSHA • Workplace Safety Practice Group, Mr. Rohani-Shukla provides the full range of federal OSHA and State OSH Plan legal services. Mr Rohani-Shukla supports clients on a multitude of occupational safety and health law issues, including counseling on compliance with OSHA rules and standards, and representing employers in OSHA inspections, investigations, and enforcement actions. Mr. Rohani-Shukla also assists employers with workplace safety policies and procedures.

 

In his spare time, Mr. Rohani-Shukla enjoys watching sports, specifically soccer (especially his favorite team Liverpool FC) and tennis. He also enjoys spending time with his dog, Arlo, and exploring DC and surrounding areas.
