Michelle M. Connors is an OSHA Specialist Paralegal with Conn Maciel Carey. She works with the OSHA and MSHA • Workplace Safety Groups as well as the Labor • Employment, and Litigation groups.

 

Ms. Connors has more than 25 years of experience supporting attorneys during inspections, investigations and litigation. Ms. Connors:

 

  • Helps with all stages of the litigation process, including preparing draft pleadings, discovery, and discovery responses.

  • Manages complex document productions to an array of federal and state agencies as well as during discovery in civil proceedings between private litigants.

  • Assists in the management of on-site workplace safety and health inspections, investigations, and enforcement actions involving the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board (CSB), and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

  • Responds to catastrophic industrial, construction, and manufacturing workplace accidents, including explosions and chemical releases.

  • Establishes and operates remote offices for attorneys, clients and experts during on-site regulatory inspections and investigations.

  • Assists with the preparation and filing of dispositive motions for proceedings before administrative agencies and federal and state courts.

 

Ms. Connors lives in the Washington, DC area with her husband and two beagles.
